An?exquisite moonstone and diamond ring?from the Art Nouveau?(ca1900) era!?This beautiful ring?has a silver centerpiece and a 14kt gold band, creating a lovely two-tone appearance. The heart-shaped centerpiece features a carved moonstone surrounded by a border of rose cut diamonds. The moonstone displays a wonderful translucence and rests?in an open backed setting, allowing the light to pass through and create soft blue iridescent flashes. The accent diamonds that form the border add a lovely sparkling accent, the perfect finishing touch! Completing the design is a smooth and simple gold gold band. A lovely and romantic antique ring, it has a very special look?and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements:?The ring has a finger size 5.25, but could be easily resized. The moonstone and diamond centerpiece measures approximately 1/2" wide?and tall, and rests about 3/8" high. The gold band measures 1.5mm wide.
Condition:?The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and silver setting. The?moonstone cabochon and rose cut diamonds are all intact and securely set.
