A gorgeous mixed metals diamond engagement ring from the Early Retro (ca1930s) era! This beautiful two-tone piece has a 14kt yellow gold band topped in?white gold. Resting at the center is a .60ct?Mine?Cut diamond, which has estimated J color and VS2 clarity. The diamond is suspended in a raised prong setting, and surrounded by a square-shaped frame below. Four additional accent diamonds line the shoulders of the ring, each individually bead set within a leaf-shaped setting. The gold band tapers in slightly as it reaches the back. The inside of the shank is stamped "14K" and is engraved with an inscription that reads "R.L.S. TO E.L.L." A beautiful and very special?piece, it looks marvelous when worn and would make a gorgeous?engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a scant 7, but could easily be resized if desired. The center diamond rests slightly more than 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the mixed gold setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are?intact and securely set.
